I had a great weekend. Saturday morning one of my nurses Sam Snyder put on a fundraiser for my at Crossfit Asylum. It was a lot of fun and there was a great turnout. About 40 people came out to compete to raise money for me. It was so much fun and such an honor to witness it. I met some of the kindest people I have ever met. I feel so grateful.

Saturday night my mom and I got tattoos. I got a plumaria with the ovarian cancer ribbon through it on one wrist and my daughters names on the other. The Plumaria means, inner beauty, liveliness and positive attitude so I thought I would shoot for that. It is also one of my favorite flowers and something I will never forget about Hawaii.

Sunday I went to church with my mom and I got to have lunch with some friends I haven’t seen in 6 years. It was a great day.
